Hi, I’m Danny Crenshaw. I’m a 25-year-old student at University of Washington School of Law. It’s been my dream to become a lawyer since I was little. I work part-time as a barista in a coffee shop in Seattle. My city has recently been named the Best Coffee City in America. Balancing school and work isn’t the easiest thing to do, but once I remember why I started, it gives me perseverance to finish what I started.

As a law student, I just can’t help but be best friends with coffee. I have to spend long hours in the evening to study and I have to wake up early to attend classes in the morning so I can get good grades. There are days where I have to be awake for an entire day especially when my shift in the coffee shop starts in the morning and I have to attend night classes to fulfill my duties as a student. The reality of losing sleep isn’t new to me, so I depend on coffee to wake me up and be alert for school. I decided to work while in law school so I can generate income while studying. I get to have the best of both worlds.

I make sure I still have time to enjoy the things I love. In my spare time, I watch my favorite classic movies from the 90’s. Nothing beats the classics.
